<div dir="ltr"><div>Good afternoon colleagues,</div><div><br></div><div>The AABC was pleased to receive funding from the Documentary Heritage Communities Program (DHCP) in late 2015. This granting program, facilitated by Library and Archives Canada, has enabled us to offer FREE workshops to members in two of our regional areas - Central and Northern Vancouver Island and the Fraser Valley.</div><div><br></div><div>In consultation with members from those regions, two sets of clinics have been set up and will take place between March 3-9. There are some spaces still available in the workshops and we invite interested AABC members (or volunteers/staff from your organization) and other members of the heritage community to join with us on these learning days!</div><div><br></div><div>Details are as follows:</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Clinic 1</strong></div><div>Location: Campbell River Museum, Campbell River, Vancouver Island</div><div>Dates: March 3-4, 2016</div><div>Time: 9:30am-4:00pm</div><div>Workshop topics: Managing Archives (March 3); Arrangement, Description and RAD Refresher (March 4)</div><div>Spaces left: 6</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Clinic 2</strong></div><div>Location: Mission Community Archives, Mission</div><div>Dates: March 8-9, 2016</div><div>Times: 9:00am-4:00pm</div><div>Workshop topics: Arrangement, Description and RAD Refresher (March 8); Records Management (March 9)</div><div>Spaces left: 10</div><div><br></div><div>The cost to attend these workshops and accompanying presentation materials/handouts is FREE! </div><div><br></div><div>Please note: participants are responsible for their own travel and/or accommodation costs to/from the clinics and for lunch on each day.
