<p class="MsoNormal">The Nanaimo Museum would like to invite you to join us for a "Docent's Connect" event here at the Museum on Friday, May 27th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Docents Connect meetings are opportunities for volunteer tour guides in
<span style="color:black">museums,</span><span style="color:#1F497D"> </span><span style="color:black">galleries and</span> heritage sites to get together, learn more about each other, and share thoughts on the collaboration between volunteers & organizations.
The event will include a behind the scenes look at our operations & programs, time for networking and discussing strategies, light refreshments, and door prizes!<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Many of these meetings are held on the mainland, which can make it difficult for Vancouver Island organizations to attend. We are hoping that by hosting this meeting here at the Nanaimo Museum, it will be central enough to encourage groups
all over the island to attend, while still being accessible enough for those from the mainland to visit as well.<o:p></o:p></p>
