students for 10 weeks. However, this is more weeks overall than we have received
in the past. Its difficult to accomplish very much and offer much training in 10

<P class=MsoNormal>We just got our official CSJ notification for 4 students… but
for less money than we got last year for 3 students. Last year it was 3 students
for 14 weeks, this year it is 4 students for 9 weeks.<o:p></o:p></P>

<P class=MsoNormal>Frankly I cannot see how we can accept this offer. We already
top up the wage and pay all the MERC’s, and usually extend the students a couple
of extra weeks. As we are also a visitor centre, each student is required to
take about a two week training program to get their provincial travel counsellor
certificate.<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><o:p></o:p> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Based on this offer from the feds, at best I think we
could afford to hire 2 students and then extend and top up for 14-16
weeks.<o:p></o:p></P>

<P class=MsoNormal>So I am curious, have other of you found that your offer from
CSJ this year is similar to ours, with more students but significantly
less weeks?<o:p></o:p></P>
