          use a short hard pla<font face="Tahoma">s<font face="Tahoma">tic
              straw for smaller tubes. You fit<font face="Tahoma"> the
                insid<font face="Tahoma">e out sewn tube over the pipe
                  and scrunch it up so the end is visible. <font
                    face="Tahoma">T</font>hen you use a piec<font
                    face="Tahoma">e of do<font face="Tahoma">wling or
                      something like it to push the sewn end of the tube
                      through the tube so you can <font face="Tahoma">g</font>ra<font
                        face="Tahoma">b it at the other end. Pull it all
                        the way through and your tube is now right side

        <p class="MsoNormal">A visitor came into the museum a few nights
          ago to ask us if we could identify something in her
          collection.<o:p></o:p></p>

        <p class="MsoNormal">Does anyone know what this is?  It’s a
          hollow wooden tube with a dark green label.  From the label we
          could make out only the name of the store, Collisters, which
          sold sewing goods.  Thus it’s probably something used by
          tailors?
