<p class="MsoNormal">The Quesnel Museum is currently overseeing the reconstruction of the Cornish waterwheel, which was erected as a memorial to the pioneer miners of the region in 1930 on Front Street ( Hwy 97) next to the first bridge across the Fraser
River at Quesnel . The funding for the project will also enable us to install new interpretive signs for the water wheel (and hopefully for the boiler from the Enterprise, the first steamship on the upper Fraser.) <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We would like to upgrade from our existing Riverfront trail signage, so would like to find a supplier using a product which would incorporate good photographic reproduction with uv protection and a surface resistant to vandalism/ graffiti
such as embedded fiberglass, fused polycarbon or sunglazed enamel. So far I have found suppliers in Ontario and the U.S. I am hoping the list serve will come through with some recommendations of more local suppliers.

<p class="MsoNormal">As a related inquiry, we are working on a small exhibit about the advocacy for a route to Alaska and the development of tourism based on the automobile. ( The sites of historic interest including the Telegraph Carin and Water wheel in
Quesnel were erected in the 30s as part of this movement). We are seeking a pennant from Quesnel for the exhibit. If any of you have one in your collection which you would be willing to loan or transfer we would be most grateful.<o:p></o:p></p>
