SUMMARY:<br>Reporting to the Point Ellice House Preservation Society, manage all
aspects<br>of the Point Ellice House Historic Site to ensure excellence and
efficiency<br>of planning and operations.</font><br><br>Duties:</div>
<div>* Financial management</div>
<div>* Property management and revenue generation</div>
<div>* Curatorial oversight</div>
<div>* Visitors’ Services</div>
<div>* Human Resources</div>

<div><font face="Times New Roman">Education and Experience required:<br>* Any
combination of education and experience equivalent to a
post-secondary<br>diploma/degree in cultural resource management, project
management, or a<br>closely related field; AND<br>* 2-3 years' experience in a
supervisory or management role in property<br>management, at a historic site or
comparable visitor destination.<br>*Experience on a volunteer board, preferably
in an Executive position</font></div>

<div>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</div>
<div>-Thorough knowledge of:</div>
<div> - principles and practises of property and facility management</div>
<div> - principles and practises of historic parks or museums, and
collections management</div>
<div>- effective administration, including budgeting, h.r. management,
efficient practises. </div>

<div>- Ability to establish effective working relationships with staff,
volunteers, the public,</div>
<div>specialist contractors from many fields, such as conservation experts.
archaeologists,</div>
<div>engineers. building contractors, etc. </div>

<div>- Ability to inspire and provide program and project leadership to Board,
staff, contractors,</div>
<div> and volunteers.</div>

<div>- Ability to perform duties and responsibilities with initiative and
independently yet within </div>
