<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";mso-fareast-language:EN-CA">Enclosed are pictures of grandmother Elsie McKee’s (Mackenzie) crocheted (maybe knit) bedspread which she finished when she was 80 years old.
She was my husband’s grandmother. She moved to Vancouver in 1911 and married George McKee, the school principal in Vancouver, where she taught.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";mso-fareast-language:EN-CA">She gave the bedspread to me in 1968 which makes it 49 years old. It was never used. I believe it is made out of ecru cotton yarn. It measures
approx. 8 feet by 7 feet. It is large enough to reach the floor on both sides of a double bed. It is on a queen size bed in the pictures.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
