It’s thin case with a metal clasp. One half of the case holds a colour tinted glass plate negative and the other holds a mirror. When light is shone on the glass plate negative it reflects the image into the mirror, recreating the image but with a sense of depth. (Images attached of the item open.)<br><br>It’d be great to put a name to this artifact so we can search for other examples of it and put it into wider context.
