<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:150%">North Vancouver, BC - North Vancouver Museum and Archives’ popular summer program is back for another year with free, drop-in, story-filled walks at The Shipyards and in Lynn Canyon Park.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:150%">Burrard Dry Dock is one of North Vancouver’s most significant historic sites. For most of the twentieth century it was the largest shipyard in Western Canada and it played an important role during WW II. Join Shipyard
Pals on a stroll around this fascinating area and hear stories and songs about both war time heroics and the everyday life of the shipyard workers. In Lynn Canyon Park the Mountaineer Pals, dressed in historic mountaineering costumes, will entertain visitors
with tales of the sometimes dangerous but exciting North Shore mountains. Hear songs and stories about celebrated North Vancouver mountaineers, record setting climbing feats and rescues.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:150%">Portraying the Pals are theatre students Marguerite Hanna and Julia Muncs, both from Studio 58, Langara College.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:150%">Free drop-in walks at The Shipyards are offered Saturdays and Sundays at 11 am and 1:30 pm from July 2<sup>nd</sup> to August 27<sup>th</sup>. Meet at Lonsdale Ave. and Victory Ship Way. Free drop-in walks in Lynn
