<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">The exhibition aims to take viewers on a journey through the past 150 years of visual art in Canada and has a unique local connection – the
81 works in the show were borrowed from personal collections in the Kelowna area and complemented by select pieces from the Gallery’s permanent collection. Guests can expect to see historical works by artists such as Cornelius Krieghoff, Emily Carr, A. Y.
Jackson, Kathleen Moir Morris, Lawren Harris, Sybil Andrews, Jack Bush, Jack Shadbolt, Daphne Odjig, Bill Reid, Jean Paul Riopelle, Takao Tanabe, and Alex Janvier, among many others.
