<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:#F9F9F9"><span style="color:#333333">The Chilliwack Museum and Archives is seeking an energetic and creative University graduate to develop a dynamic, immersive place-based learning program. This position will be the key
point of contact for the “Classroom in Residence” pilot project at the Chilliwack Museum and Archives. Working with local School District teachers and community organizations, the Classroom in Residence Project Coordinator will help to research, develop and
implement the Classroom in Residence program.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:#F9F9F9"><span style="color:#333333">The Classroom in Residence Coordinator will undertake a broad range of tasks to develop implement, and evaluate the Classroom in Residence pilot project, including acting as a liaison
with school district staff, teachers, and community groups. The successful candidate enjoys working with children of all ages and will have experience working in a variety of educational settings.<br>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:#F9F9F9"><span style="color:#333333">• University Degree in History, Anthropology, Fine Arts, Museum Studies, Education, or other related field;<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:#F9F9F9"><span style="color:#333333">• Experience working with children, in a formal or informal teaching environment;<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:#F9F9F9"><span style="color:#333333">• Knowledge of the current BC Curriculum, specifically in Social Studies, and understanding of current educational practices;<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:#F9F9F9"><span style="color:#333333">• Ability to work independently and in a team;<o:p></o:p></span></p>
