the Canadian Museum of History and the Terry Fox Centre. After touring across
the country we are proud to host the smaller version of this exhibit in Terry’s
hometown of Port Coquitlam. <span></span></span></p>

to mark the 35<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the Marathon of Hope, follows Terry’s
incredible story. Terry’s dream was to help find a cure for cancer – one dollar
at a time. This exhibit explores the birth of that dream, Terry’s unwavering
determination to see his dream realized, and the creation of a lasting legacy
that has inspired the world.<span></span></span></p>

created a separate complementary exhibit, <b>“Terry
Fox: Hometown Legacy”</b>. This exhibit explores Terry’s connection with his
hometown of Port Coquitlam, and the deep enduring love this community still has

features many special objects, such as one of the original Marathon of Hope
T-shirts Terry wore while running across Canada (on loan from the Terry Fox
Foundation B.C./Yukon), as well as images and video interviews. <span></span></span></p>

in the former post office building, which saw thousands of letters of support
and encouragement for Terry Fox pour in from all corners of the world. To
highlight this connection we have included an interactive postcard activity
where you can share your thoughts and feelings about Terry’s heroic journey by drawing
a picture, or writing a letter. These postcards will then be put on display for
the rest of the exhibit. <span></span></span></p>
