<p class="MsoBodyText"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">The City of Richmond has over 20,000 artefacts in its collection. The collection is stored at various locations throughout the City. An estimated 4,000 industrial, maritime,
cannery and BC Packers related objects have been stored in a warehouse, containers and net loft building at Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site and The Steveston Harbour Authority. In an effort to centralize the City’s artefact collection and provide
improved storage conditions, these artefacts will be moved to a warehouse close to the City Centre.
