1912 vintage carousel located at Burnaby Village Museum. The carousel is a popular attraction for visitors and tourists alike.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;text-align:justify;background:white">
<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black">The Carousel Operator is involved in public contact and carousel ride operational work. Along with routine cleaning and maintenance tasks and responsibility for ensuring the safe
operation of the ride, duties include operating and monitoring carousel ride machinery and equipment either at the control console or at the attendant position, starting up the ride and testing all controls, carrying out daily safety inspections and completes
inspection reports; performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance of carousel ride as per instructions; overseeing safe operation of the ride, ensuring riders are properly seated, assisting riders when getting on and off rides; enacting prescribed emergency
procedures as required; and providing information and assistance to riders. The Carousel Operator performs related work as required.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto;text-align:justify;background:white">
