pleased to announce the launch of historian Ken Mather’s newest book, <i>Trail North: The Okanagan Trail of 1858-68
and its Origins in British Columbia and Washington</i>. Mather worked as
Curator and Manager of the O’Keefe Ranch from 1984-2004, and now holds the
title of Curator Emeritus. He has published extensively on the history of BC ranching,
and writes a weekly column in the Vernon <i>Morning
Star</i> entitled “Ranch Tales”. <span> </span>You can
also catch Mather every Friday night in July and August performing cowboy
poetry with Canada’s Famous Cowboy Dinner Show at O’Keefe Ranch. <span></span></span></p>

of live music, food and drink as we celebrate Mather’s newest academic
