into life in the 1800s. Helmcken House is one of the oldest houses in BC still on its original site. Learn about the owner, Dr. John Sebastian Helmcken, and his career with the Hudson’s Bay Company. St. Ann’s Schoolhouse is thought to be the oldest building
still standing in Victoria, built in 1844 by Jacques Lequechier. Tour the schoolhouse and learn about its past as both a residence and schoolhouse.<o:p></o:p></span></strong></p>
