<p class="Default"><b><span lang="EN-CA">The Curatorial Assistant</span></b><span lang="EN-CA"> will have the opportunity to contribute to a number of ongoing projects, which will provide the student with an understanding of a broad range of museum operations
including collections registration, digitizing and indexing a photograph collection and exhibit development. If the student is interested he/she could conduct interviews for an oral history project.

<p class="Default"><b><span lang="EN-CA">The Education and Events Co-ordinator </span>
</b><span lang="EN-CA">assists with the delivery of education programs and outreach activities during community festivals. He/she will be responsible for planning and implementing a children’s activity day and an event for teens and young adults. He or she
will also prepare promotional material and social media content for the museum’s web and Facebook pages.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.5pt">Both students assist with daily operations
</span><span lang="EN-CA">(visitor reception, gift shop sales, research requests, exhibit maintenance, special events) and have the opportunity to select an individual project.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-CA">These positons are partially dependent on grant funding and applicants must qualify for the Young Canada Works program. We happily work with students to fulfill requirements for co-op credits.
