<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:106%"> The Vernon Public Art Gallery has received the tremendous opportunity to exhibit award winning artist, Diana Thorneycroft. Her exhibition will be in VPAG’s Topham Brown gallery from October 10<sup>th</sup> until
December 19, 2019, with an opening reception on October 10th<o:p></o:p></p>

</b>The Vernon Public Art Gallery is excited to exhibit Diana Thorneycroft this fall. Thorneycroft is a Winnipeg native and has had her work exhibited across Canada, the United States, Europe, Moscow, Tokyo and Sydney.
<span style="font-family:"Gill Sans MT","sans-serif"">She has received several Provincial and National Level Arts awards and VPAG is honoured to have the chance to share her works with our arts community. Thorneycroft’s work is anything but conventional, as
she finds herself combining beauty with absurd and grotesque themes. The exhibition she is bringing to the VPAG is titled Black Forest (village); a series of photographs and a large diorama that tell a dark tale about mutant creatures, their herdsmen and
the town they live in. In these works Thorneycroft continues to embrace the grotesque.
