<strong>Great news! We are excited to announce the Digitization Grant Initiative (DiGI) is now open for the 2020/21 year!</strong><br>
<br>
The DiGI program supports the digitization of Indigenous language resources for First Nations communities and organizations in B.C. Including:<br>
<ul>
<li>Support and funding to convert existing First Nations language materials to digital file formats.</li>
<li>Training opportunities for digitization projects.</li>
</ul>
Eligible activities include adding new digitization staff, purchasing equipment, digitization training and cataloging resources.<br>
<br>
<strong>Funding amounts:</strong> $10,000 - $100,000 available<br>
<strong>Eligibility:</strong> First Nations communities and organizations in B.C., including First Nations societies, contractors, resource centres (Friendship Centres), and governments (i.e. Band Council offices).<br>
<strong>Deadline:</strong> March 27, 2020<br>

<strong>Timeline: </strong>All projects must be complete by March 31, 2021. <br>
