First Peoples' Cultural Council and the BC Arts Council realize the importance of supporting Indigenous arts education and are proud to announce the <strong>NEW! Indigenous Arts Scholarship.</strong> <br>
<br>
This new program supports the development of First Nations, Métis and/or Inuit artists and arts practitioners residing in B.C. with funding for training in the arts. <br>
<br>
This is the first FPCC program to support students in pursuing arts education through either post-secondary <span style="text-decoration:underline">OR</span> mentorship training.<br>
<br>
We are currently accepting applications online through the <a href="http://www.fpcc.ca/login/" style="color:#c00000" target="_blank">FPCC grant portal</a>. <br>
<span style="color:#c00000"><br>
The deadline to apply is April 15, 2020. </span><br>
<br>
<strong>The objective of the Indigenous Arts Scholarship: </strong><br>
<ul>
<li>Pursue arts training through an accredited institution. </li>
<li>Pursue arts training through mentorship with an established artist. </li>
<li>Increase knowledge, skill development and opportunities for artists and arts practitioners. </li>
</ul>
