<span style="background:white"><span>We couldn’t get together for our National Conference in Montreal as planned, so we’re bringing an event to you. We’ve organized Museums Together, a free, one-day, virtual event to discuss some of the key issues facing Canada’s
museums today.</span></span><br>
<br>
<span style="background:white"><span>Please mark your calendars and join the CMA on April 16th starting at 11 a.m. ET.</span></span><br>

<span style="background:white"><span>Our online event program includes remarks by the CMA’s Executive Director, Dr. Vanda Vitali, and Prof. Jack Lohman, CME, President of the Board of the CMA and CEO of the Royal Museum of British Columbia. Then, you’ll hear
from our special guest, the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage, in a dialogue with our provincial and territorial colleagues. This will be followed by a panel discussion with heritage groups as we discuss common challenges and a path
forward. This will conclude the public portion of the event.</span></span><br>

<span style="background:white"><span>Then, for the first time in the history of the CMA and open to members only, we are also conducting our Annual General Meeting online, starting at 1:15 p.m. ET. We invite you to hear from our Board of Directors about the
latest CMA business, read the CMA’s 2019 Annual Report and other related documents, and vote through interactive online features (voting members only). </span></span><br>

<span style="background:white"><span>Comme nous ne pouvions nous réunir comme prévu à Montréal pour notre Congrès annuel, nous vous proposons une activité virtuelle gratuite d’une journée à laquelle vous pourrez participer où que vous soyez. La conférence virtuelle Les
musées ensemble vous permettra de prendre part à une discussion sur des enjeux clés auxquels font face les musées canadiens à l’heure actuelle.</span></span><br>

<span style="background:white"><span>Le programme de notre activité virtuelle comprend le mot de bienvenue prononcé par Vanda Vitali, directrice générale de l’AMC, et l’allocution principale prononcée par M. Jack Lohman, CME, président du conseil d’administration
de l’AMC. Vous entendrez ensuite notre invité spécial, l’honorable Steven Guilbeault, ministre du Patrimoine canadien, discuter avec nos collègues des provinces et des territoires. L’allocution du ministre sera suivie d’un panel de discussion où des représentants
d’organismes du secteur du patrimoine parleront des défis communs et exploreront des stratégies pour aller de l’avant.</span></span><br>
<span style="background:white"><span>Ce panel de discussion conclura la portion publique de l’activité.</span></span><br>

<span style="background:white"><span>Par la suite, à compter de 13 h 15 (HE), pour la première fois de son histoire, l’AMC tiendra en ligne son assemblée générale annuelle (réservée aux membres). Vous pourrez alors entendre les membres de notre conseil d’administration
qui parleront des récentes activités de l’AMC. Si vous êtes un membre ayant droit de vote, vous pourrez participer aux votes grâce aux fonctionnalités interactives. Par ailleurs, nous vous invitons à lire le Rapport annuel 2019 de l’Association et les autres
documents fournis en prévision de la vidéoconférence.</span></span><br>
