could be an on line exhibit or article for publication. As needed and according to Covid-19 protocols and safety the Curatorial Assistant may provide tours and interpretation in the Museum and historic site and assist with other activities of the Agricultural
Society . This is an ideal position for a university student pursuing Indigenous Studies, Museum Studies, Education, Linguistics, Writing, Library Studies, History, Political Science, Tourism etc.

called Mayne in English. On the island is Tsartlip Reserve #6 which gives our community a special relationship with the Tsartlip (W̱JOȽEȽP) village near Brentwood Bay who are part of the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations. These are SENĆOŦEN speaking people who have been
here for millennia and who have rich artistic and traditional culture connected to Mayne Island. We extend our thanks and gratitude to them and acknowledge the privilege of enjoying this beautiful place in their territory.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Mayne Island Agricultural Society (1962) preserves and operates the historic Agricultural Hall and Museum (Plumper Pass Gaol) in Miner’s Bay on Mayne Island, one of
the Southern Gulf Islands in British Columbia. The Society stages the amazing Fall Fair the third Saturday of August. This year will be the 95<sup>th</sup> Mayne Island Fall Fair, making it one of the longest running Fall Fairs in BC.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
