before you make any changes. If there are no such restrictions due to heritage aspects [ie the painting enhances the existing heritage], then go ahead and consider other options.

the walls were decidedly washed out yellow with remarkable Edwardian brown trim. In making the walls white, you may be changing things to accommodate present day notions. If your intent is to recreate a doctor’s office, then you might want to look at any
images that you might have of local offices in order to retain authenticity. That then becomes a practical educational component for your facility.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

trim you may be able to mount something that looks appropriate in front of the original boards without damage. You could also consult a conservator to look at a reversible coating that could be painted over, but that means much more work for future changes.
