<p class="MsoNormal">We’re hoping that someone can help us identify these items from our museum, (see attached photo). They came as part of a large collection but with no indication as to what they might be. They are old and very worn, with velvet on one side
and leather on the other. Both have a small round impression in the same corner – this can be seen at the top centre of the photo. The velvet doesn’t appear to have been regularly sat or stepped on, so we don’t think they are seat covers or some kind of mat/rug.
We’re stumped. Any ideas, museum pros?<o:p></o:p></p>
