<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">My name is Erica Olmstead and I am a student from the Department of Curriculum & Pedagogy at the University of British Colombia completing my Master of Museum Education. I am
writing to invite you to participate in my research study<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>on the experiences of educators who have created partnerships with teachers in order to provide learning opportunities where students are engaged with an informal
learning site<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>(eg. museums, art galleries, science centres, parks, etc.)<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>for longer-term learning experiences, such as week-long field trips, multiple visits throughout the
year, and more<span class="apple-converted-space">. </span>I hope my research will tell a rich narrative of the educators who have created these partnerships and add to the literature both regarding educators’ experiences and stories as well as informal site
and school partnerships.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">Involvement in this study will consist of an interview of about 1 hour, a review of the transcripts (approximately 30 minutes),<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>and
a second 30-minute interview may be scheduled to allow for any follow-up questions by either the participant or the<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></span><span lang="IT" style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">co-investigator<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></span><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:black">which
will all take place using the web-conferencing software, Zoom. It may also include sharing any documents that you think will highlight your experience. The interview will take place at a mutually agreed upon time in the winter of 2021.<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
