I have also </span></div><div><font size="4" class="">attended several Provincial Scout Jamborees, the last two were held in 2015 & 2019 where I ran a </font></div><div><font size="4" class="">Ham </font><font size="4" class="">Radio Station which was held in my home town </font><font size="4" class="">of Sooke, BC, and I have run a yearly “Emergency </font></div><div><font size="4" class="">Tarp </font><font size="4" class="">Station" at the annual </font><span style="font-size: large;" class="">Klondike Derby held at </span><span style="font-size: large;" class="">Royal Roads.</span></div><div><font size="4" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div><font size="4" class="">My other volunteer activities include:</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- member of the Sooke Fire Department’s "Emergency Support Services” program</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- co-ordinator of the Sooke “Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program”</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- chair of the Sooke RCMP’s "Citizens on Patrol and Speed Watch" programs</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- running the “Great Sookeini Race” at the annual Sooke Fall Fair</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- Security Team leader for the annual Sooke Fine Arts Show</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- member of the Westcaost Amateur Radio Association & Radio Amateurs Canada, (i.e. Ham Radio)</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- member of the Sooke Contract and the Duplicate Bridge Clubs, and</font></div><div><font size="4" class="">- a grandparent to a 3 and 7 year old</font></div><div><font size="4" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div><font size="4" class="">For the last 5 plus years, I have overseen the Scout Museum located at 505 Marigold Road </font></div><div><font size="4" class="">in Victoria BC. This collection of Scouting memorabilia has been growing for many years, but </font></div><div><font size="4" class="">basically was kept in boxes and cupboards.
