[Nmap] Introductions

[ACMG Executive Director]

Hi folks,
Just a brief note about who I am and what I’m not.
I am the Executive Director of the ACMG. This is a mouthful of a title that
is best described as “slave to the Board of Directors” of which Christoph is
a member.
I am not a guide nor an avalanche professional, though I have been skiing
and climbing for nearly 40 years.

I think that Christoph asked me to be a part of this august group because he
would like to keep the ACMG in the loop around what’s happening in the avi
field and possibly also as a process advisor as I’ve had a bit of experience
with the issues that sometimes arise with these sorts of e-mail groups. I
don’t expect that I’ll contribute much to the content of the discussions,
but I’m on board if there are any ACMG or process-related queries.
