Hello all northern mountain and avalanche professionals,

it sure does not look like winter is over, but we have switched to
Daylight Savings Time even at the Dominion of Burnie and the days are
getting longer. I am working on two CPD and certification courses.

1. A 80 hour Wilderness First Aid course for the end of May/ beginning
of June. I am talking to various providers to see that we get a
reasonable price, a good course, and a ticket that will see us through
the next three years. Could everybody please let me know if they are
interested and if that time slot would work? 80 hour courses are the
standard required for ACMG guides. If they have current certification,
they may do shorter refreshers to maintain their status.

2. A Weather Course for avalanche and mountain workers in June. We have
Uwe Gramann in Smithers and it would make sense to ask him for that.

Could everyone please let me know as soon as possible if this would work
for them?

Have to go break trail now.

All the best
