[NPSBC] South Coast Presentation: The Road North

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know about our evening presentation coming up this Thursday, November 1. Please join us for:

The Road North	
with Virginia Skilton

Doug and Virginia Skilton made a long-anticipated trip to northern BC and Yukon this past summer. They spent five weeks searching out interesting plants and habitats, all of which were found in abundance. From bog to boreal forest to alpine and northern tundra, the array of species seen was amazing. Join Virginia for a photographic journey through some of BC’s more remote botanical destinations.

Presentations are held at 7 p.m. in the Cedar Room at VanDusen Botanical Garden at 37th and Oak in Vancouver. Admission is free for NPSBC members, a $2 donation is suggested for non-members. If you have any questions, just email npsbcmembership at gmail.com

We'll also be holding a short AGM after the presentation. If you've ever wondered about being a director for the NPSBC, consider putting your name in for the board.

By the way, if you've tried to access the NPSBC website the last couple of days, you'll have encountered some weird non-NPSBC messages. We're having some issues with our web hosting service at the moment, but are trying to resolve it asap.
