Flora of Oregon (Volume 1) is now available for pre-orders.

Volume 1 presents treatments of the pteridophytes, gymnosperms, and
monocots-1,054 taxa. The taxonomic treatments include dichotomous keys,
family and generic synopses, full taxon descriptions, Oregon Range maps and
illustrations.

In addition, a chapter "Ecology of Oregon" describes the state's 11
ecoregions and predominant habitats. Another complementary chapter describes
50 sites-organized by ecoregion-to explore; these are accompanied by 73
beautiful color photographs. 

Yet more additional chapters contain biographical sketches of notable Oregon
botanists and the story of the Oregon Flora Project. 

Appendices are also included with detailed lists of plant taxa of interest
to conservationists: rare and endangered species, endemics, taxa limited to
a single ecoregion, and those not collected during the previous 50 years.
