The Washington Native Plant Society's (WNPS) Conservation Committee is now accepting grant applications for projects that propose to restore, improve, or otherwise support on-the-ground conservation and protection of functioning native plant ecosystems in Washington, U.S.A. Proposals will be evaluated based on the public benefit provided, alignment with WNPS Conservation Principles (https://www.wnps.org/conservation), quantity and quality of ecological benefit to be gained, and likelihood of long-term success.

2019 Applications will be accepted through midnight (PST) March 15 and responses will be sent in April.

Approximately $4000 will be awarded in 2019. Requests up to $1500 will be considered (typical range $500-$1000) and partial funding may be offered at the discretion of WNPS. Successfully funded projects may be featured in the WNPS journal, Douglasia, or other WNPS publications.
