2021 Conservation Grants Available!
The Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS) is accepting grant applications for projects that will restore, improve, or support on-the-ground, functioning native plant ecosystems in the State of Washington, USA. Successful projects must provide public benefit and must align with WNPS Conservation Principles. Applications will be evaluated based on the quantity and quality of ecological benefit to Washington’s native plants and their habitats and the likelihood of project long-term success. Applications will be accepted until midnight of March 1, 2021. Awards will be announced April 1, 2021.
WNPS plans to award $5500 USD in 2021. Requests up to $1500 will be considered (typical range $500-$1000) and partial funding may be offered at the discretion of WNPS. Upon completion, funded projects may be featured in Douglasia, the WNPS journal, or other WNPS publications.
