[NPSBC] Riparian Restoration in Eastern Washington, USA: JUNE 2023 VIRTUAL TRAINING OPPS

Riparian areas are among the most challenging restoration settings due to the gradients in biophysical conditions, ecological processes, and biota and the significant exchanges of energy and matter between terrestrial and aquatic environments in these ecosystems.  Restoration in arid regions is even more challenging due to outsized impacts of invasive plant species, magnified effects of the legacies of past land use, and intensely dry and hot climates.  Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group and the Washington Native Plant Society are pleased to offer two, free, virtual training opportunities for the riparian restoration community practicing in arid lands of the Pacific Northwest, USA.  These virtual webinars offer restoration practitioners practical information and insights into conducting successful restoration projects.  Two 4-hour virtual webinars will deliver by Zoom, 8am to Noon (PDT), Tuesday, June 20, and Thursday, June 22, 2023.  Details and free registration for each day at:
