The event will take place in David Strong room C114 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and feature three guest speakers: <b>John Dick</b> (from Friends of Uplands Park), <b>Thomas Munson</b> (from the City of Victoria) and <b>Becky Miller</b> (a UVic PhD student). Following these short talks will be a quick talk on effective letter-writing followed by a letter writing workshop. If you wish, you will have the opportunity to write your own letter to the municipality on the issue of fire reintroduction in municipal parks! All materials will be provided.<br><br>If you are interested in the restoration of Garry Oak Ecosystems through fire and would like to take direct action, please come to the event!
