in Vancouver and strongly recommend that your museum or gallery to

the Province will likely find a number of funding opportunities coming
available to them through the ArtsNow program.</span></font></div>

<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">At this point, no other Info Sessions are scheduled, however BCMA
has made this request of ArtsNow.</span></font></div>

<font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">The session will outline the ArtsNow program in detail, including</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">information on criteria, requirements and materials needed to apply</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">for funding.  Learn about  about the 2010 LegaciesNow funding for the</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">arts: how to apply, deadlines, tips and more.</span></font></div>

<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">The 2010 LegaciesNow is a not-for-profit organization created and</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">funded by the Province of BC during the 2010 Olympic Bid to invest in</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">an array of community based initiatives which strengthen the sport</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">and recreation infrastructure in the province. The program was so</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">successful, its original purpose has been expanded to include:</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">Sport and Recreation, the Arts, Literacy and Volunteerism. </span></font></div>

<font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">ArtsNow is a newly created dedicated arm of 2010 LegaciesNow. Its</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">mandate is to invest in creative and cultural activities that will
strengthen the arts and cultural sector, help the sector prepare for the
Cultural Olympiad, and create lasting cultural legacies in</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">communities throughout the province. Approximately $12 million will</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">be invested through ArtsNow programs.</span></font></div>

<font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">At the end of this information session you will be able to:</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">- Decide whether or not you or your organization qualifies to apply for</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">ArtsNow funding; </span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">- Gather relevant materials for your application;</span></font></div>
<div align="left"><font face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10pt">- Understand the guidelines and application procedures for ArtsNow.</span></font></div>
