arch and copy-editing support to the
Project
Coordinator and subcontracted museum professionals for the
balance of BCMA’s “Building Member Capacity: Best Practices
Module Development Project”;</span></font></p>

t face=3D"Arial"><span style=3D"font-size:10pt">-   Work directl=
y with BCMA’s domain host and website
developer
to monitor the web-publishing of the first ten Best Practices
modules, ensuring continuity in format, presentation, user
navigability and links to related external resources;</span></font></p>
<p style=3D"margin-left=3D6mm; margin-right=3D0mm; text-indent=3D0mm"><fon=
t face=3D"Arial"><span style=3D"font-size:10pt">-   Provide dire=
ct and online user support to promote
member
awareness and use of modules, and to monitor member feedback,
evaluation and recommended future development;</span></font></p>

oject Coordinator and module experts
to identify,
prioritize and research a “Phase II” series of Best Practices

e administrative support for a province-wide
market
research project to compile, measure and report on the capacity
and needs of BC’s museums and galleries for planning future
programs and services development;</span></font></p>

t face=3D"Arial"><span style=3D"font-size:10pt">-    Assist=
the Member Services Coordinator in research
and
communication with BC museums, art galleries, heritage
institutions and related organizations to ensure the
comprehensiveness and inter-linking of BCMA’s searchable, online
public “Directory of Museums, Galleries & Related Organizations i=
n
BC” project;</span></font></p>
<p style=3D"margin-left=3D6mm; margin-right=3D0mm; text-indent=3D0mm"><fon=

compile a database of museum industry
suppliers
and service-providers;</span></font></p>

compile an online listing of training
opportunities
and an online bibliography of instructional and reference
publications for adding to BCMA’s searchable online Learning
Resource Database (“Publications” homepage);</span></font></p>

e Executive Director and assist the Member
Services Coordinator with comparative website research, liaise
with sources and facilitate hyperlink exchange, where appropriate,
including promotion of BCMA’s online Directory;</span></font></p>

t face=3D"Arial"><span style=3D"font-size:10pt">-   Work with Se=
cretariat and other BCMA volunteers who
may be
involved in assisting with research initiatives.</span></font></p>

in the following PC-based computer programs

applications:  Word, Excel, Access, (including new database
design), Internet Explorer and Outlook Express or Pegasus Mail

orking knowledge of web-based interfaces,
web-
publishing, in-house website maintenance capabilities, and online
survey software programs, (ie. Survey Monkey), are definite

with the museum and heritage profession

resources, and a working knowledge of museum and/or gallery

experience in the museum or art gallery communities is preferred, or in
lieu, an ability to adapt quickly to this new environment. An ability to
converse, translate and/or write in French would be an asset, but not
