This auxiliary position at the Burnaby Village Museum is best suited for 
a university student in a related area of study. 

 

Along with assisting a supervisor in a variety of work related to the 
acquisition, research, reception, registration identification and 
cataloguing of museum collections, the Museum Registrar participates in 
other museum activities, including the development and arrangement of 
special exhibits.  

 

Qualifications include high school graduation, supplemented by 
university courses related to the work OR an equivalent combination of 
training and experience. Other preferred attributes include related 
experience in collection and identification work in a museum, art 
gallery or similar institution.

 

The wage is $20.17 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of benefits.
