Revelstoke Museum and Archives is accepting applications for the 
position of Curatorial Assistant. 

    * Applicants must be returning students between the ages of 16 and 30.
    * The successful candidate will be responsible for the research,
      planning and development of exhibits at Revelstoke Museum &
      Archives.  The student will also create brochures and programming
      materials to accompany the exhibits. 
    * Preference will be given to post-secondary students in the fields
      of museum studies, education, history, fine arts and other related
      disciplines.  Basic computer skills are required.  Proficiency in
      Microsoft Publisher, Photoshop or Corel Draw will be considered an
      asset. 
    * Applicants are expected to study preparatory materials and to take
      a brief written test indicating their understanding of museum
      policies and procedures. 
    * The job will take place at Revelstoke Museum & Archives and will
      be 35 hours per week for 12 weeks, from June 4th to August 25th,
      2007. 
    * The position will pay $15 per hour. 
    * Applications must be received at Revelstoke Museum & Archives
      prior to 4 pm, Friday, May 18, 2007.  They may be delivered to the
      Museum at 315 First Street West, Revelstoke, or mailed to Box
