2008 Wine Label Contest and Exhibition


The 2008 Wine Label Contest Exhibition will be the inaugural event to be 
hosted in the Hope-Smith Art Lounge and Media Centre at the Richmond Art 
Gallery.

All entries will be included in the 2008 Wine Label Contest Exhibition, 
November 10-24, 2007.
This exhibition will run concurrently with The RAG Members Exhibition 
and Silent Auction Event entitled Mirror, Mirror 2007: Little Landscapes 
and Miniature Worlds.


SELECTION PROCESS and WINNING ENTRY:

The general public, through suggested donations of one dollar per vote, 
will decide on the winning entrant.
Voting will take place throughout the duration of the exhibition.

The winner of the contest will be announced during the Mirror, Mirror 
2007 Keystone Gala Event, Saturday Night, November 24^th .

The winning entry will become the Richmond Art Gallery Wine Label for 
2008. The winning artist will be profiled on the Gallery website 
throughout the programming year and featured in the first issue of the 
2008 RAG e-Newsletter.


CONDITIONS:

All entries must be submitted within a standard 8 & ½” x 11” frame and 
be exhibition ready. Artwork must be titled on the back.

All entries must incorporate label dimensions of 10.5cm x 9.3cm (this 
can be in either direction/orientation).

All entries must include the following text/information: RAG, Richmond 
Art Gallery 2008

Entrants are entirely responsible for delivery and pick-up of entries. 
All entries must be delivered, either by hand or by post/shipping, to 
the Richmond Art Gallery by Friday, October 26, 2007. No entries will be 
accepted after 5pm on October 26
