Search the American Association of Museums site http://www.aam-us.org/
for "collections plan." You will find 34 resources available on line.
If you know some institution that has gone through the process or is
applying for accreditation under the AAM, there are lots of other
resources available to accreditation applicants. I plan to mine my
American contacts for this information.=20

Subject: [Bcma-l] RE:Future collections plans
We would like to develop a plan for future collecting and specific
criteria for adding new items to our collection. Does any one out there
have such a plan or guidelines for creating the plan. This plan would
be an extension of our current Collections Policy.
