WHAT: "*The End of a Perilous Journey*" *A celebration of
our veterans*!
WHEN: Sunday, July 1, 2007 10:00am - 4:00pm
WHERE: Port Moody Station Museum
2734 Murray St.
Port Moody, BC (Next to Rocky Point)
Join us as the Port Moody Heritage Society celebrates our Veterans in
this very special event. Canadian history will come to life. We will
be saying thank you to our veterans with a very special event that
features displays from 16 lower mainland organizations. The old CPR
station n ext to Rocky Point Park in Port Moody will be transformed back
62 years to what it may have looked like as the Second World War was
nearing its climatic end. Bands, military vehicles and personal,
military displays and a chance to speak to our Veterans and hear their
stories will all be here.
Everyone welcome, Free family orientated event.

*VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR THIS EVENT. Help in the set up and take down
of this event, as well as hostesses required in volunteer areas and
concession helpers. Any time from 7:00am to 7:00pm on Sunday, July 1st
is very much appreciated. *
*Food and beverages are supplied and a really great time is guaranteed. *
