Please find attached an Expression of Interest for Learning Initiatives 
for Rural and Northern BC – LIRN.

This initiative is intended to give rural and northern communities an 
opportunity to have a one day learning event on a topic/s that is most 
relevant to the community. A number of federal departments, provincial 
ministries, and non-governmental organizations have partnered in this 
initiative to offer their expertise to communities. This initiative is 
being coordinated and funded by the Canadian Rural Partnership, the 
Social Planning and Research Council, the BC Rural Network, Service 
Canada, and the Self-Help Resource Association.

NOTE that the deadline for submitting your application is July 20^th .

Please collaborate with others in your community rather than submitting 
separate applications. Also, please feel free to share this invitation 
with others who would be interested.
