I believe this is the first time the Hedley Heritage Museum Society has 
utilized the list serve and we are pleased to participate.

The Hedley Heritage Museum Society, HHMS, is gearing up for our 5^th 
Annual Stamp Mill Day celebration to be held in Hedley on Saturday, May 
5^th . In conjunction with this the museum will be hosting a Miners’ and 
Old Timers’ Reunion following Stamp Mill day on Sunday May 6^th making 
it a two day event.

The attached poster focuses on the Reunion and we are hoping for, and 
thankful of, your help in using it, to get the word out about the Hedley 
Reunion.

‘Old timers’ visiting the Hedley Mining Museum have asked us to host a 
reunion as they, (and us) realize time is ‘running out’. The underground 
mines operated here from 1900 to 1960. There are only a few of the 
miners still around, and their families are scattered so any help in 
tracking them down is appreciated.

The reunion includes everyone who lived, worked, went to school etc. in 
Hedley and Nickel Plate etc, (including the Nickel Plate, Mascot, and 
French Mines); and is primarily focused on the ‘up to 1960’ period.
