Education Programmer
The Lynn Canyon Ecology is accepting resumes for the position of 
education programmer. This position is a part-time job share position 
for a one-year term.

Responsibilities* *
The Ecology Centre Programmer develops and delivers environmental 
education programs for the general public, schools and community 
groups.  The Programmer will:_ _

    * Promote Ecology Centre events and programs in the community. 
    * Research, develop, deliver and book community and summer programs
    * Train auxiliary staff and volunteers
    * Assist staff with display development and editing
    * Assist the public at the front desk, make gift shop sales and
      perform custodial tasks.

Experience
Candidates should be familiar with the following:

    * Developing and delivering education programs
    * Leading and working with children and diverse groups of community
      members
    * Working with the media
    * Local natural history and nature interpretation.
    * Nature centre operations.

Education
The ideal candidate will have training and/or experience in:

          o Environmental Education
          o Education
          o Science, particularly biology, geography, ecology,
            conservation forestry
          o Outdoor Recreation
