CBC ran a story on the 3:00 pm national radio news about a museum in Nova
Scotia that is in dire straights because of the lack of students. There is a
message there. Call your local media and let them know what the effects of
funding cuts are on your operations. And by all means call and write your
local MP.

I would like to encourage all of you to pick up your phones and call the
following two numbers:

(613) 992-2792  This is Minister Oda's phone number

(613) 992-4211  This is Prime Minister Harpers number

Call them, even if after hours and leave a message.

Simply ask them what is happening with the announced summer student funding
for museums? Many museum that have traditionally been supported by the
exisiting summer student programs have heard in the past few days that they
are getting nothing this year.

Add your personal stories.
