Thanks for your suggestion regarding phoning Minister Oda and the PM, =
Lee Boyko. I tried phoning on Victoria Day when I wasn't working =
myself.
Neither number you gave will afford an opportunity to leave a message =
after hours unless a 'mailbox number' is supplied. =20
I had none.
This morning, at 11am Ottawa time, I tried Minister Oda's phone number. =
I was redirected to a gentleman who redirected me to Lyn Elliot Sherwood =
(819 997 7774) who is, apparently "in charge of museums", and thence, as =
she was not in her office, to Susan Murdoch (997 8756) who was not in =
her office either and whose answering machine clicked off as I started =
to speak. The process took twenty minutes.=20
There is a toll free number: 1 800 720 0994. Ask for the local 819 or =
ask to speak to Lyn (Elliot) Sherwood... My receptionist found her name =
listed under Sherwood, not Elliot.=20
I hope you all have better luck than I did. =20

(613) 992-2792 This is Minister Oda's phone number
(613) 992-4211 This is Prime Minister Harpers number
Call them, even if after hours and leave a message.
Simply ask them what is happening with the announced summer student =
funding for museums? Many museum that have traditionally been supported =
by the exisiting summer student programs have heard in the past few days =
that they are getting nothing this year.
Add your personal stories.
