    Awards: Don't miss the November 15 deadline!


Each year the CMA presents awards to celebrate and encourage excellence 
within the Canadian museum sector. A volunteer jury conducts a peer 
review of all submissions, and the successful recipients are honoured at 
the CMA’s annual conference.


        November 15 is the deadline for the following awards:

The *CMA Awards of Outstanding Achievement

which recognize exceptional museum projects in a series of categories, 
such as exhibitions, publications, marketing, conservation, and so on.

The *Museums and Schools Partnership Award 
<http://25538.vws.magma.ca/en/about_cma/awards/museums_and_schools_partnership_award/index.php>* 
which recognizes excellence in collaboration between Canadian museums 
and schools in developing educational programming. This award is 
co-sponsored by the Canadian College of Teachers and the Canadian Museum 
of Nature, in partnership with the CMA.

The *CMA Award of Distinguished Service

which recognizes significant contributions by individuals to the 
Canadian museum sector throughout the course of their careers.

The *Fellows of the CMA

which recognizes individuals who have shown dedication to supporting the 
work of the CMA throughout the course of their careers.

*ICOM Canada’s International Achievement Award*

which honours a Canadian museum professional or organization that has 
demonstrated and promoted excellence in Canadian museology on an 
international scale.
