BC150 wants to extend a huge Thank You to everyone for a very successful
year! Celebrations were held all around the province from Fort St. James
to Radium Hotsprings to Cumberland. Over 1,200 events took place, from
parades to Spirit Square openings, as well as street parties and
cultural exhibits. It's been a wonderful year British Columbia!

150 Years of Design
BC150 has teamed up with the Emily Carr University of Art and Design to
bring the Online BC Applied Arts Project to life in a traveling
exhibition.
The BC150 Applied Arts Project is an online learning tool for students
across B.C. and anyone with an interest in functional arts and crafts.
The Emily Carr University of Art and Design virtual museum highlights
the creativity, innovation and influences on B.C. applied arts from
1858-2008, featuring everything from architecture and furniture to
jewellery and pottery.
The exhibition is available free of charge and will travel throughout
B.C. from March 2009 to December 2010.
