*RABBI AMONG THE LIONS*
Jewish Museum and Archives of BC
January 17 to June 12, 2008
This exhibition by the award-winning photographer, Tobi Asmoucha,
poignantly captures her brother, Rabbi Nathan Asmoucha and his family as
they lived and served among a Jewish community seeking to hang onto
their Jewish traditions in an environment that seems left in the 1950s
and set amidst the exotic African landscape.
