Our Home and Creative Land with Crafts Association of BC (CABC)

*Pride Appreciation Day, **July 26 9am to 6pm*

crafthouse at the crafts association of bc offers customers a 25%
      discount and jewellery trunk show

The Gay Pride Parade may be the best known festivity during Vancouver?s
Pride Week (happening July 27-August 3) but now that the Crafts
Association of BC?s Crafthouse is hosting a *Pride Appreciation Day*
that may change.

On *Saturday, July 26 *from *9am ? 6pm* Crafthouse will show its rainbow
colours with an unprecedented *25% discount on most work*. All
customers will enjoy shopping the boutique that sells craft from across
Canada including one of a kind teapots, hand turned wood bowls,
tantalising textiles and glorious glass. Add in a jewellery trunk show
featuring a special collection of wearable art by *Madeleine Chisholm
*and *Vera Horsman of Solid* Design Jewellery *and you have a one day
only opportunity to decorate the body with pieces not usually available
in the shop.

2008 marks the 30th anniversary of the Pride Parade. It?s such an
inspiring and influential event that we wanted to give it some
recognition as well as welcome the GLBT community,? says Jo Darts,
Crafthouse Manager.

Crafthouse is operated by the Crafts Association of BC, a registered,
non-profit, charitable arts service organization that provides
leadership in the craft community by building and promoting the
development, appreciation and viability of Canadian Fine Craft.
